This maternity session at Raccoon Mountain in Chattanooga, TN was such a beautiful way to capture this season. The soft light, open views, and natural setting made it the perfect location for relaxed, meaningful maternity photos.
Spring evenings on Raccoon Mountain are full of magic and a little unpredictability. Lacey and Jake joined me for a cozy maternity mini session at 5:30 p.m., with darker clouds rolling in and a gentle breeze keeping things lively.
Even with a bit of traffic on the way (typical for Chattanooga), the moment they arrived, Jake automatically emptied his pockets. Lacey laughed and told me, "Yeah, he’s well trained." That easy, playful energy carried through the session and made their connection feel effortless in front of the camera.
They kept it casual with jeans and a white crop tank, letting Lacey’s baby bump shine. The overlook at Raccoon Mountain created a naturally dramatic backdrop and added to the stormy-but-dry feel of the evening.
My favorite moments are the intimate couple shots, like him gently holding her chin and the quiet smiles they shared, along with the solo images of Lacey that really highlight this season of motherhood.
